Osgood: Pilot Episode

Last night (actually, early this morning) the faculty and students from Compass College of Cinematic Arts, and the talented cast members finished filming the scenes for a pilot episode of a sitcom called "Osgood"! The episode was written and produced by their Bachelor of Fine Arts students, and they worked through the night for three nights, so that we could continue operating our business during our normal hours. It was quite impressive to see them convert the brewery dining area and part of the brew-house into their set, and bring in loads of equipment, props, lighting, costumes, computers, and more, and put it all together on site, only to take it apart and repeat this process two more times! We are very much looking forward to seeing the finished show, and as of now the plan is for the premier screening at Osgood, maybe in a couple months. We will definitely keep you posted on that, as it will be a fun event!

Here are a few behind-the-scenes photos:

Sundays and Lunches

Due to popular demand, we are going to be adjusting our hours of operation!

Beginning Monday, June 16, we will be open for lunch at noon, every day!

Beginning Sunday, June 22, we will also be open on Sundays (noon to 5PM)!

We are excited to offer this, and we hope to see you all at the brewery! Tell your friends!  Whether you are stepping out of the office, or spending a day shopping, break away from the norm, from all the same-old chain restaurants (you know the ones, they're not too far from us), and come to a place where the beer is top-notch, the server will remember you, the food is made just how you want it, and you might run into some good friends! Not to mention, it is always a good idea to support local businesses! We are just regular local people who had a big idea!  It only works because of you!

We really appreciate our loyal customers, but we are still trying to get the word out that we are here, so feel free share this post! We know that Grandville and the surrounding communities are full of hungry, thirsty people, and we want them to know a great craft brewery is right up the road.

Check our menus for FOOD and BEER - there's something for everyone. Even you "non-beer-drinkers" will love the shandy, perfect for summertime. We may just convert you into a craft beer fan...

Team Troll Parkinson's Fundraiser

Team Troll Strongman Competition

Team Troll Strongman Competition

"4 hours 20 minutes: 1st keg killed.

Thanks for coming out and supporting Team Troll and Parkinson's Awareness!"

On Saturday, May 17, Osgood Brewing hosted a fundraiser event and launched a brand new beer - Under the Bridge Strawberry Blonde Ale.

$1 of each pint sold goes to the Van Andel Institute for Parkinson's Research and Awareness! We are so excited and honored to be partnering with this great organization, and so far we have raised over $400, and counting! Please stop by soon, and help this wonderful cause while enjoying a delicious beer - it's a win-win!

If you wish to make a donation to this cause, but can't make it to Osgood, click here!

"We are from under the Mighty Mac, riding and racing for a cause bigger than us." Team Troll was born many years ago when a group of friends went smelt dipping and trout fishing under the Mackinac Bridge. Some locals dubbed the group Trolls because they lived under the bridge. Until 2010, Team Troll was a group of people that had a common interest in hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. But then the team captain learned that his father had Parkinson's. Now the group rides road and mountain bikes to raise awareness and money to help find a cure for Parkinson's. Learn more about Parkinson's Disease.

Thank you again, Team Troll, for choosing us to host this fantastic event! We wish you all the best in all your endeavors, both in cycling and in raising awareness for this disease that affects so many! Stay safe and we hope to see you soon!

New Beer on Tap: Hammer IPA

Hey, guess what... a very special member of the Osgood Brewing family is celebrating his 30th birthday today, and we are so excited to be ringing in this new decade of his life with a brand new beer!

"Hammer" is our General Manager Chad's nickname (he also goes by Charlie, Coach, and who knows what else). We just love him. He works so hard all the time, always has a smile, always looks for ways to make Osgood run smoothly, he's a pro, a leader, a dear friend, and night after night he does it all while keeping your mugs full of Osgood brews. This man deserves a beer!  Oh, but wait, he can only eat and drink gluten free. Shoot. What's a brewery manager to do?  DRINK HAMMER IPA! Because it's GLUTEN FREE!

HAMMER [GF] IPA IS ON TAP NOW!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAD! Cheers!

SO, If you know someone who is in search of a great GF beer, come down to Osgood and get some Hammer GF IPA before it's all gone! This was just a pilot batch, but we'll be doing a big tank's worth soon! We can't let Chad drink it all...
